Dr Hecker and Associates

I was already familiar with the excellent reputation of Hecker and Associates through my daughter's visits with them. I was able to experience that firsthand during my first appointment with them in their Newport News location. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, as was the office setting itself. My audiologist, Dr. Hecker was not only a good listener, he was knowledgeable and explained every step of the hearing test. I was thoroughly impressed and would recommend them to anyone seeking audiology services.

My journey to hearing well again has been a frustrating 3 years process. With many attempts and failures with multiple audiologists and my insurance company. I finally found Dr. Hecker and Associates. After a false start and a short time to reorganize I was able to finally get my appointment scheduled and meet Dr. Eric. After a short "painless" exam and consultation, he ordered hearing aids for me. And his pleasant office staff scheduled the follow up fitting appointment for 2 weeks hence. At that appointment Dr. Eric explained and fitted my aids. And Wow! What a difference and at only 70% of my normal hearing so as Dr. says not to overwhelm me. With instructions to wear gradually over the next couple days I was sent out into a much noisier world. To return in a few weeks time for further tweeting and adjustment. I'm very pleased with Dr. Hecker and Associates and highly recommend them for anyone who has need of audiological care.

My hearing test experience at Dr Hecker's office was very pleasant. The staff was highly efficient. The wait after finishing paperwork was less than 5 minutes. Dr Hecker asked many questions first and conducted the test with clear instructions

The whole staff was so patient and kind. Lucas typically doesn't like when people touch him but the doctor was kind he let her do all her testing no problem. That was the easiest doctor appointment we have ever had. No tears and all smiles is a win for us! Definitely highly recommend them especially if you have an autistic kiddo they are the place to go!
