George Mueller DO

I just visited Dr. Muller for the sixth year I believe. I came in for a routine check up. He spoke to be with friendly conversation. He asked me how I have been doing and I told him about a knee issue I have. He was concerned about that and suggested a couple of things for me. I have always felt comfortable with him. He is nice and courteous. Then he asked me what can I do for you today. I told him and he helped me. Don't give bad reviews until you are sure that you didn't do something. You can ruin a persons reputation with bad comments. Find the good in everyone including yourself.

To: Virginia Cardiovascular Associates: I flew in from Florida specifically to attend this appointment with my 87-year-old mother. Unfortunately, our experience with the physician was deeply troubling and unprofessional. He did not introduce himself upon entering the room, and when my sister attempted to explain our mother's condition, he abruptly and dismissively stated, "She can't speak for herself?"--a highly insensitive remark, especially considering that, due to her medical condition, she truly cannot. When he said he had no information on her, my sister pointed out that all of her medical records were available in the patient portal. This seemed to agitate him further, and he left the room in frustration. Upon returning, he stated, "It's not her heart. She's not in afib. Her doctor apparently doesn't know how to read an EKG." When I asked if afib could be intermittent, he acknowledged that it could be. He then claimed her swelling was due to excessive water intake and that she had doubled her Lasix dosage, before abruptly leaving again without further explanation or support. My mother was in tears on the way home, feeling like a burden after being treated so callously. As a retired Detective from Florida, I've dealt with many difficult situations, but I have never witnessed such blatant disregard and disrespect toward an elderly patient. I fully intend to report this incident to all appropriate regulatory and professional bodies. Charles E. Ross

He came into the room, didn't look at me or greet me. He had already decided what was wrong. I told him my concerns, he implied I just needed to lose weight and refused to test me for what I was there for. I will find a different doctor.

First visit. Flipped thru some documents I provided, didn't read them, asked a couple questions, wanted to throw a pill at a problem he has not even diagnosed. Not at all impressed. Of course, this routine seems to be the status quo for all docs these days.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Mueller and his compassionate and knowledge. He has been extremely helpful in dealing with my complicated health issues related to my heart. I would recommend him to all my friends. His staff is also wonderful!
