About Dr. Weijuan Li, MD
Dr Li is board certified in Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI and also cardio-oncology. After earning her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College, she received additional training through graduate programs from Duke University and UCSF, a residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Jacobi Medical Center and a fellowship in Cardiology and cardio-oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She loves caring for the Lynchburg community because people are so friendly and great to work with and she has the ability to establish long-term, close relationships with patients.

I've been a critical care RN for over 30 years, specializing mainly in cardiac care. Dr Li is a fantastic Cardiologist, highly motivated in her pursuit to properly diagnose & treat her patients. In my opinion she is one of the most knowledgeable & thorough doctors I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Dr. Li reviewed my wife's medical records going back to 2012 and discussed the implications of her current heart condition vs. what they were 9 years ago. Dr. Li explain that advancements in diagnostic testing over the past 9 years meant that today's test data results are more accurate and useful in determine her heart's current condition.
