I was given a referral from my primary and she looked at my chart and decided that I did not need to see her and refused me an appointment. I will now pay out of pocket to see my previous endocrinologist. Thank you Dr Daly for being part of a broken healthcare system where people who need you pay $900 a month for their insurance and when referred to you are denied healthcare. No wonder the system is so broken.
She is very picky and biased about who she will see and requires a referral from your primary care physician. I am struggling with thyroid and adrenal issues and my primary care doctor is clueless but thinks they know everything. Why would they write me a referral when they think that they are giving me proper care? My sister is a health practitioner in the United Kingdom and is begging me to get appropriate medical care in the US, but Dr. Daly is just one of many Drs who've gotten too big headed. I would think that bringing in all of my labs for the last three years would suffice... Sadly no. I had high hopes she would help, now I'm back to the search.
Thank You Dr. Patricia Daly for taking time out of your already busy day to reach out to me. Dr. Daly is helping oversee labs and treatment for my specialist that is on maternity leave. I just had labs done on Tuesday and was called back the very next day by their nurse with the results and her recommendations. Dr. Daly has her own practice in Front Royal, VA but took the time to interpret my results and explain everything to me to ease any concerns.
Dr. Daly was the best medical experience I have had since moving to Virginia last year. She didn't rush the appointment, listened to me and genuinely cared about my problems. She explained thoroughly and asked what other questions AND SYMPTOMS I had. I wish I could see her for everything!
Dr Daly is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. She is professional in a very friendly way, takes time to explain, listens well & responds to questions asked & makes you feel comfortable. Her skill doing biopsy was phenomenal ! Staff are excellent as well. Will recommend her highly !
