Pediatric Gastroenterology, Children's National Hospital - Fredericksburg (Mary Washington Hospital)

Dr Hayes & his staff here at the FXBG clinic were super nice, friendly, patient & kind to us today during an appointment for one of my kiddos. One of my sons has a fear of doctors offices, so he was upset & afraid. The staff.. from the front desk receptionist, the nurses & even Dr Hayes himself made this visit a breeze for us! Dr Hayes was recommended to me, & now I can see why! Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a good pediatric gastroenterologist!! I left the appointment feeling great & optimistic about our plan of care. Thank you guys so much!! :) From a very happy mama!

Dr. Hayes is a wonderful doctor who is smart, knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients. He is everything - and more - that we had spent so many years searching for. My child has a complex medical history and within minutes of meeting him was able to observe and offer solutions to concerns that had been on-going for years. No other doctor had been able to do this. And, in just a short amount of time helped him feel so much better. I believe he will continue to investigate and do whatever it takes to help all his patients. He does not back down! I know he works tirelessly, often communicating after business hours. My children look forward to their office visits because Dr. Hayes is so personable. He is truly taking the absolute best care of my children and our entire family is forever grateful for Dr. Hayes!

Dr. Hayes is a phenomenal doctor. He has been taking care of my daughter and her GI issues for the last 4 years (since she was a few weeks old). He is very thorough and has taken such great care of my daughter. It is evident he cares about his patients and does whatever it takes to find and treat any issues. I can't imagine my daughter seeing any other GI specialist. My daughter loves Dr. Hayes and in the height of her GI issues was actually asking to go see him because she associates him with her feeling better. I am forever thankful for all he's done for her. He is absolutely the best doctor and has gained my complete trust in caring for my little girl. He will be the only GI doctor she sees.

Dr. Hayes has been our granddaughter's doctor for 3+ years. In my opinion, he has saved her life. He was dealing with a chromosome disorder. His efforts and knowledge made it possible for her to thrive and become healthy. He was very thorough and his knowledge was impressive. I am very confident when I recommend him. Any parent seeking help with GI issues should reach out to him. He was always there for her (and us).

Dr. Hayes is patient, kind, intelligent and an all around amazing doctor. My daughter was having issues gaining weight at her 4 month check up, so we were referred to a GI which is where we got Dr. Hayes information. His reviews and education are pretty impressive, but I was taken back with how quickly he came up with a game plan. My goal was to continue to nurse my daughter through this time and he was SO SUPPORTIVE of that! We saw great results with him in just 3 weeks! We've been released from his care, but are so grateful to have his reference in case we were to need it. Thank you Dr. Hayes!!!
