My wife delivered early by c-section and our twins spent around a month in the NICU, Our experience met or exceeded expectations at all times. The doctors and nurses were incredible. At times there were some issues with communication, but overall we had a positive experience. The hospital is spacious, modern, and clean. Staff is friendly.

My four-year-old son was admitted to the Pediatric Unit and I was blown away by our experience. He was a direct admission from our pediatrician and that process couldn't have gone smoother. I very much appreciated being able to skip an ED visit and just walk straight onto the unit. We walked into our room and immediately found a Jared box, a backpack full of toys, and a colorful, warm blanket. My son was so excited to see these special touches and was so comforted by them- the Jared Box was a huge hit and absolutely saved the day. Our nurses - Hannah, Taylor, and Anthony - were incredible. I especially want to shout out Hannah and Taylor - they were outstanding. They put me at such ease with their professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate care. Taylor was also just incredible all night long. Once I was able to get him to sleep, she went out of her way to make sure his vital checks were so quiet and unobtrusive that he never even woke up. She also managed the messier moments of our stay with such grace, and I just really appreciated the way she cared for my son. Dr. Chanock and Dr. El Bash were both amazing as well. I deeply appreciated Dr. Chanock asking me to step into the hallway to discuss the care plan so as not to create more anxiety in my son. This was such an unexpected and thoughtful thing and allowed me to concentrate on processing the plan without managing his emotions at the same time. I have such a deep appreciation for the way this team cared for my son, and we could not have had a better experience on the Pediatric Unit. Thank you to the entire team!

My son was seen in ER this past Saturday. He collapsed at work and had what was believed to be a seizure. He arrived at the hospital probably a hour or more before my husband and I got there. When we got there he wasn't hooked up to any monitors to check his vitals. He was laying in the bed and already had a bill for $200 printed out and laying across his lap. Why would you not automatically be measuring the vitals of someone who just had a seizure? He was given no fluids, no EEG and just sent on his way to possibly have another one. Not to mention my son came by ambulance into the ER and during an emergency you just print out a bill for $200 and slap it on his lap. Shows you only care about the money. Do better. This is not the usual care we reciveve from our Richmond area Bon Secour hospitals.

My 95 year old mother has been hospitalized four times in the past 3 years, always via the ER. we have always received fine care. ignore complaints about the cafeteria food - it is not job to be a gourmet kitchen for visitors. The health care staff have always been skilled and respectful. The facility is clean and orderly. These are the things a hospital should be evaluated on.

The worst experience I've ever had in my entire life, was at this place in the emergency when I was clearly miscarry my child I was treated horribly by all the nurses and the ultrasound tech. I I forgot her name, but she was this short, haired black woman. Her hair was dyed blonde. Just trying to describe her. I was already in pain physically and emotionally from my miscarriage, and they were only making it worse treating me like a stray animal. Afterwards, I can't even Get anyone to help me to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Karimi. As if my miscarriage never even happened. I've called many numbers and tried to even speak to an advocate of the hospital and or management. Once I got on The phone with them they didn't even care about what I had to say so this review is the only thing I have to share my experience with everybody. I am so disappointed that people like Them even exist it's better to die in your house than to visit this type of hospital. Nothing will Bring back my baby and I don't even know if I made the right decision in delivering it or if it had any chances to survive. I don't feel like I've been explained my situation properly when I was there my lab results came in for my baby and I don't have any professional to help me understand what it means nobody is answering my calls or even willing to help me In my current situation is as if they just want to ignore everything that happened because of reasons only they know why I wish the same on them.
