Cardiology Associates of Fredericksburg

My experiences have always been good. Office staff is helpful and very thorough. Dr Ayunde did my pace maker and was great. You get in for your appointment in a very timely manner. I have nothing but good remarks for them, and have recommended them to friends looking for a cardiologist

I was not a patient here but I had given them my info back in 2023 to see about their waitlist. I was just notified that there was a data breach that happened back in February of 2025, it is now the end of June. Why are you just now telling people about this!? They had access to all of our information and you tell us 4 months later? That's bullshit and I'd NEVER recommend this place due to that. I've experienced this somewhere else and they let us know within days of it happening... not FOUR MONTHS. Stay away from this place, they obviously don't have patients' best interest.

I saw Dr. Bustamante for several years. I believe he provided me with excellent care, as did an NP I saw once. The medical assistant who took my vitals was professional and pleasant. But over the years the administration of the practice has deteriorated. There are long waits for appointments, appointments are cancelled with little notice, and recently after their "system went down" they left a message cancelling an appointment they had previously rescheduled and said not to contact them, they would contact me. Finally, after 3 weeks they left a message for me to call for an appointment, but when I did, they said they couldn't make me an appointment and to call back in a week. I called three subsequent weeks and was told the same thing. I found a new cardiology practice and the first available appointment was 3 months after my scheduled 6 month follow-up at CAF. The new cardiologist asked for me to have my records from CAF sent to him including the results of a stress test. The staff at the new cardiologist told me that they had "a terrible time getting patient records from CAF" so I went in person and signed a release for the records. I was told it might take some time to have them send. Then I was told that because I did not provide them with the new practice's email and address (I gave them the practice name) the form would "just be sent back to you." In short, they are disorganized, unresponsive, and today, rude and lazy.

The office management is terrible. I tried three times to make an appointment online with no response. The hold time to get an appointment over the phone was over 30 minutes. I was told at checkin that they were running 30 minutes behind and that there was possibly a longer wait. It was only 10:15 so I'm not sure how you get so far behind in the first hour. Finally saw the doctor at 11:45 only because other people ahead of us got tired of waiting and left angry. Of course the doctor was flustered and rushed, so not a great experience. Didn't bother to schedule a follow-up on the way out. Will be looking for a new doctor who respects their patient's time. We have jobs too and spending half a day for a simple appointment is unacceptable.

My wife see Dr Rana. He is awesome. He help save her life.
