Dr Wayne Batchelor is President of the Medicine Service Line. He joined Inova in 2019 with more than two decades of executive leadership in academic medicine, private practice, clinical research, and education. He is Professor of Medicine (adj.), Duke University, Chair of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Interventional Sectional Leadership Council, and Vice-Chair of the STS/ACC Transcatheter Valve Therapy (TVT) Registry. He has previously served as an academic cardiologist at the University of Toronto, President of Southern Medical Group, PA in Tallahassee, Florida, Board Member of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare, and Co-Founder/President of the Tallahassee Research Institute (TRI).
