Mitchell Cohen, MD, FACC, FHRS, is the Co-Director of the Pediatric Heart Program and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital. He is a pediatric and adult congenital electrophysiologist.
His clinical and research interests address long-term outcomes of children with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices, genotype specific therapies for patients with channelopathies, catheter ablation for all types of arrhythmias including Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, and late arrhythmic outcomes in adults with congenital heart disease.
Dr. Cohen has performed more than 4,000 EP procedures and ablations. He has lectured at over 300 scientific meetings and has published more than 100 papers and book chapters.

I haven't found the right words to describe how amazing Dr. Cohen is in his care for my son that he helped at 7 days old (who's now 2 and thriving). Even my pediatrician said that Dr. Cohen is the cardiologist they call for answers when no one else has the answers. He's clearly brilliant and also one of the most caring human beings I've ever met (him and Dr. Alan Benheim at the same practice).
