If there was a zero option, I would have chosen that. This office has gone down horribly. Despite them encouraging you to use the My Chart, No one ever responds to your request . The Representatives answering the phone are operating just as a robotic machine. It's very sad. You need to have a summon in order for them to let you talk to the operator Management. They interrogate you with hundreds of questions and you never hear their managers voice. I don't know how they are proud to say that INOVA was recognized as the first in the industry maybe other locations but definitely not here. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for my mother in the last few months and after hundreds of phone calls I was able to schedule her appointment. I called to confirm her appointment and was informed that her physician is retiring. We were never informed of this and no one is returning our call to reschedule her. I don't know how they can get away with such poor customer service and operate. Their 2.5 rating speaks volumes!!!

So far, so good. Saw Dr. Dastmalchi after some findings on test from my PCP raised concerns. I was taken on time, Dr. Dastmalchi was easy to talk to and explained what she wanted to do next. Another test is scheduled for this week.

Poor experience with the staff at the Walker lane office. Arrived to appointment, was checked in, waited for 30 minutes to be told it would have to be rescheduled due to nurse not being there that day. No voicemail left or update in MyChart prior to the appointment, no call the day of to reschedule-NOTHING. Called to speak with office manager, was assured someone would call and 3 days later-NOTHING. You're charged for your appointment if you don't show-not even an apology issued here! No consideration for our time at all.

I have gone through hell even as a physician to get my mother a follow up appointment. The system is so user unfriendly nobody calls back. I tried more than once to get a hold of somebody as follow up appointments couldn't be given at the time of the appointment and they put it on the patient and as my mother's doctor son it's impossible even for me to get this done. Is Inova on board or is Inova not on board and I couldn't get anybody to help me after hours. They don't take messages they can't do anything to help you with semi urgent issues. Then we have been hassled to get a prescription for an essential medication but the right hand doesn't talk to the left and the nurses don't know what's going on - one answers an email not reading the full email trail answered by another person. We got numerous messages from the pharmacy that they can't fill the essential prescription because they can't get a hold of the doctor. We called the clinic numerous times and still we don't know what's happening, and my mother only has several pills left. The nurses take too long to answer emails for critical things. Calling the on-call doctor for an essential medication resulted in no reply after being told, I would get a reply within a half an hour. This place really doesn't have their act together and I advise please go elsewhere. We are looking for another cardiology clinic. In addition, our experience with the billing department, there has been nothing short of horrible. My mother was hassled with dozens of the same bills repetitively when they bill the secondary insurance first instead of primary and even had a different insurance listed even though every time we come in we keep showing them repetitively the current insurance cards that they photocopy. I have never seen something like this in my whole medical career. They can't fix any billing issues in the prompt fashion causing stress for elderly patients. When you walk into the clinic and you see a dozen receptionists there, you would think they have a lot of manpower to get things done, but it isn't so. What has happened is this place is too big for its own good and the personal touch is totally lost.
