Dr. Chong is amazing! My daughter has been experiencing unpleasant symptoms with some concerning low blood markers. He immediately put our minds at ease and explained how to easily fix her iron deficiency. He was calm and fun and extremely personable. He took his time with us and answered all of our questions and we left there knowing we were in the best of hands and with a great plan moving forward to fix her deficiency. Absolutely impressed with Dr Chong. We are truly grateful and highly recommend him as a hematologist.

I have complete confidence and trust in Dr. Daniel Chong, his nurse Leah, and his entire VCS Team. Dr. Chong is an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated Oncologist, who routinely delivers difficult news re: "the big C" that "no one wants to hear." That said, He takes a sincere interest in his patients, their welfare, and the welfare of the caregiving family members. He is responsive, caring and empathic in his approach, which allowed me to feel hopeful re: my diagnosis. All of my experiences with the nursing/support staff at the Fairfax/Fair Oaks locations, have been extremely positive. I know, if I have any questions or any medical issues arise, I can reach out to VCS for assistance. I am forever grateful to Dr. Chong and his entire team and the folks at VCS.

Very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to you so you really understand. He is also extremely kind and expresses genuine interest and care for you as an individual and not just a patient. He will take time to get to know you and go out of his way to provide quality care. He even offered to call me with test results on a week he was meant to be on vacation.

Cancer is news that one never wants to go through but with the right support care team to help you navigate is all one can hope for. Everyone at VA Cancer Specialists are my true heroes and Dr. Chong is part of that team that you want on your side. He takes time to listen to your questions that not only helps you understand what you are feeling but promotes your mental well being as well. It is almost 2 years now since my surgery and I am thankful for my care team who has made this journey easier for me and my family.

Dr. Chong has cared for my mother for several years. He is super thorough, very informative, and a compassionate advocate. He listens to her, looks her in the eyes (rather than at a chart or screen), and smiles. He's a very gifted oncologist and is always up to date on the most current state of treatment and care options. His office is bright, open, and inviting and his staff are all so polite, kind, and helpful. Checking in and out is quick and easy with the focus always on the patient's needs. Telehealth check ups make some meetings easier for everyone. Can't recommend Dr. Chong and his practice more highly!
