Patient
James Mapp, I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent interaction. I felt that you did not adequately listen to my concerns and appeared dismissive of my questions. Your demeanor gave me the impression that you were not invested in our conversation, and I was made to feel rushed. It is unfortunate that this experience occurred at UVA, an esteemed institution with a reputable cardiology department. If you must visit this facility, I would advise against consulting with Mr. Mapp. As a patient, it is already stressful enough without feeling disregarded by a healthcare provider, particularly a nurse practitioner who does not possess a medical doctorate. His lack of attentiveness and apparent disinterest in addressing my concerns only served to exacerbate my anxiety. Thank you for only making me feel even worse than I do before. I hope the next patient you treat that you treat better than you did in my appt.
