About Dr. FRANK AMICO Jr. JR., DO
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, Dr. Amico specializes in cardiovascular disease. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Winthrop University Hospital on Long Island, NY where he was also the Assistant Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Amico completed several fellowships; a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ; an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania; and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

Dr. Amico is fantastic. After he diagnosed me with a severe condition, he sat with me to make sure I was ok. While I'm sure other patients were waiting, he took the extra time to take me through next steps and to assure me that I would get better. He's been very thorough in his testing to determine the cause of my heart condition. And his empathy and bedside manner is outstanding. Chesapeake Regional is very lucky to have such a great doctor on staff.
