UVA Health Heart and Vascular Center

First, I want to thank God, and I want to thank Dr. Bergin, the entire medical team, Beth Fallin, Kelly, the nurses, CNAs, cafeteria workers, and every staff member who has been part of my journey. I received my heart transplant at UVA on 9/16/2001, and the level of care I have continued to receive is why I will always travel to UVA in Charlottesville for my follow-ups. I give the UVA Heart and Vascular Center my full and wholehearted recommendation truly 125%. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and the many years of continued support. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Ramcharitar and his nurse Deb are superb!! I always have a say in my treatment, and am treated with the utmost compassion and respect. If I have questions, I get a response within a day. My vascular issues have been somewhat complicated, but Dr. R and Deb have both been patient, kind, determined. I really couldn't ask for a better team. Thank you all so much - I'm very grateful!!

After review with other medical providers found the advice we received from nurse practitioner to be out of date and, frankly, wrong. Was charged the highest level of care despite lack of physical exam or prescription or testing recommendations which I suspect is fraud. When I called the office to speak with physician in charge I never received a return call. I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 as the office staff was friendly and our wait was short.

I am very pleased with caliber of care my husband is recieving...it's as good as his care he received from Dyke.

Nurses were very professional,nice,made me feel very confrontable and at ease for my procedure. Thank ur staff
