If you love your animals, do not take them here to this death trap!!! As you can see in the photos something was seriously wrong with my dog and that ER simply said it was an allergic reaction and sent us home with Benadryl and steroids and apparently ear wash from what my regular vet told me they charged me for it on my records, But obviously I went home with no ear wash in hand but let me tell you that this mass kept growing larger and larger to where it was cutting off my dog breathing and moving up to his face. Do not take your animals here if you love them at all I repeat do not!!!!!! This Clinic is crooked!!!! I walked out of there paying a $700 bill with no results or resolution for my poor dog and having to take him to another clinic after the fact which in fact was Bayview animal clinic in Layton and that Dr. was so on top of his stuff that he immediately took my dog back to start shaving his face so that he could drain that abscess on his face; which is what should've been done the first time!!!! UPDATE 11/14/2025: The hospital ACTUALLY called me back about this review and made things WAY better! The gal I talked to was VERY helpful and supportive about our services at this hospital and refunded majority of our money back for the fact that I had to spend that same amount of money ($700) to another vet to get my poor dog fixed so based on the fact that the clinic was actually worried about their relationship with clients says ALLOT about their integrity and intentions with trying to fix their mistake AND they were pretty great about taking accountability! I have to say that they changed our minds about their clinic and I am very grateful for them reaching out to us after the fact.

If you're in a lot of pain and are considering going to this hospital then you need to read this. My wife came to the ER and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. She was treated with antibiotics and released. The next day she got a message informing her that she needed to come back immediately because she was septic. I left work to come take her in and we ended up sitting in the lobby for 4 hours. We saw multiple groups of people come and go in much less pain than my wife. At 2.5 hours I asked the front desk what was going on and was told she would have a bed in 5 minutes which never happened. Each inquiry just seemed like they were not concerned with my wife who was in a great deal of pain and none of this made any sense since the ER called us to come in. I asked for and was provided the blood test results as we contemplated going to a different hospital but didn't really want to move my wife because of her pain. At 4 hours I asked the front desk if they could tell me what was going on or at least help us find another hospital that could treat her right away and they told us they don't do that and that we just have to wait and started to ignore me. At that time the security bozo started bouncing me saying "sir we don't give time frames" I told him they did and he would feel the same as I if his wife was in as much pain and waiting in the lobby for 4 hours while even work med patients with minor injuries came and left already. We made the decision to leave and he very rudely said "have a nice day". As we drove off we were called to come back after which my wife was immediately treated. The doctors and nurses were great which is why I didn't give just 1 star, but despite the fact that all of them said the ER is much better now compared to the past I would say I disagree. I came in 10 years ago with extreme pain in my leg and I sat there in pain in the ER and never got any help. Bottom line is if you're in pain you really need to go to a different hospital. For some reason this ER believes anyone who is in the most pain needs to be put at the bottom of the list. For the sake of all the good doctors and PAs that treated my wife, I hope the director will realize that the ER needs serious changes not pretend changes. Also the floors were disgusting in the ER.

I will admit I've "heard" something's about this hospital but I can personally tell you from being a patient, THEY ARE AMAZING! From the ER, Radiology, ICU (exceptional care) the dietary crew, the cleaning staff, phlebotomists, case management, Nurses and Assistants to all the Doctors! I hope i didn't miss anyone because they all meant that much to me! I went in with DKA (very serious condition) and I was scared because at the time I had no idea why I was so ill. They all were very kind, quick and knowledgeable! They all explained what was happening and how they were treating me. They made me feel I was in good hands (because I was)! They even teamed up with the UofU and there providers come all the way out to Tooele (one of them said 75% of his work is here)! I just wanted to make sure they all know what they do isn't taken for granted and way to go Mountain West! You guys are rockin it!!!

I got ACL reconstructive surgery Dec 1st, and I've never experienced such caring staff and doctor. (I've had 3 kids at St.marks and UofU). I want thank you guys for being awesome to me and making me comfortable! Billing department was straight forward about my bill before my surgery and offers 50% off my out of pocket expense which is so helpful. Thank you again Dr.Douglas and staff! Couldn't be happier .

They are trying to charge me over 14k because I went to the ER due to domestic violence. They did a ct scan and some x-rays, and told me nothing was broken and to take Tylenol. Mind you, I hadn't been to this facility in over a decade and was in severe pain, but they treated me like a pill seeker and sent me away. They also told me I had an ovarian cyst but did not specify which ovary or give me any other information other than to see the obgyn they recommended. This facility is trash, and I will not be paying them a cent. They absolutely did not help me at all and I knew I shouldn't have gone here. Update: I got an additional bill for the CT scan and X-rays. So I'm literally being charged 14,000 dollars for them to take my temperature and tell me to take Tylenol. Thank god I didn't ride in the ambulance like the responding EMTs wanted me to. This is extortion of a victim of domestic violence and it is disgusting!
