Dr Affleck is a horrible surgeon who cares only about money. The Mitra Clip surgery he performed on my mom was a complete disaster. His "press secretary", Kristy, her only purpose is to mitigate damage control after a horrible performance. My mother died from his decision to go forward with a surgery on a patient who should never have qualified due to her comorbidities (if he had bothered to review her chart). He didn't care, he only wanted money. Go to any other surgeon. Get a second consult. Do not trust this surgeon with your life or the life of your loved one.
