Dr.Sunkara is a kind and very caring person. He was all ears when I was telling him my story about my health. He was patient, focused on what I was saying, asking pertinent questions as I went along with the conversation and was never rushed or made feel rushed. After listening, he talked to me and explained what I needed to know and answered my questions and fortunately it turned out that my diagnosis was a happy one and I don't have to come back but I am sure if I had to I would be in great hands.

I am always treated as if I'm the only person important. They take time to answer my questions and make sure I understand the answer. I feel that I am never hurried and they have time to make sure I am happy with my care.
First, The dr was an hour and twenty minutes late for the appointment. When he finally arrived he joked about carrying out a study regarding how long patients were willing to wait. I can understand a 20 minute delay or so, but after more than an hour, its just complete disregard for the patient. I asked the nurse if he was pulled away for surgery, but she indicated he was just running late. Second, he had requested that I get labs done prior to the appointment, which I did. However, he only referenced them when I asked what he saw in the lab results. Even then, it was apparent he was looking at them for the first time and trying to respond to my questions on the fly. He is a cardiologist who I'm supposed to only see every 6 months. He didn't care about my well-being, progress, or concerns. He was there solely to check a box and move onto the next one.
