McKay-Dee Cardiology South

I spent almost a week in the cardiology unit of McKay-Dee, and received excellent care from the nurses, PT therapists, and CNAs. Nurses change twice daily and are often assigned to different units and patients, so there is not the continuity of care that I would have preferred. That said, nurses Maggie and Sarah were especially kind and helpful and reassuring after my AAA surgery. PT therapists Catelyn and Aubrey were great in getting me back on my feet. I felt very well cared for the whole time.

The visit was great. The best part was the people who helped me. From the receptionist, the MA, NP Hood, and the procedure scheduler. They were knowledgeable and thorough in explaining what I needed to do, what my issues were, and presented me options for my care. My questions and concerns were addressed and when I left I felt I was going to be in great hands. Hospitals can be scary places, but not McKay-Dee and not the cardiology clinic!

My mother saw Kim Allen yesterday and said she was wonderful! She was very attentive to my mom and very knowledgeable! She was recommend her to everyone cause she was that caring and really listened. She has great bedside skills and was very good!!

Kim is the best health care provider I have ever been to in my life. My yearly health exam is something I look forward to every year.

Dr. Brunson and staff are amazing. They have helped my mom so much. Dr. Brunson puts my mom at ease every time she sees him. He is great at explaining things regarding her heart and health. We are grateful for such a knowledgeable, caring doctor.
