John R. Stringham, MD

At first Dr. stringham was great. He cared for my grandpa all the way up until they performed surgery. It was supposed to be a 3 night inpatient stay and then discharge after a partial lobectomy. He ended up having to get a trach that was supposed to be "temporary" then he ended up on a vent and had to go to a long term hospital. My grandpa passed away about a month and a half after surgery. Dr. Stringham never checked on him when he was transferred to promise and never reached out to my family regarding his passing. My grandpa was in pretty good health before surgery. He walked on his own, his mind was sharp, and the last time I saw him before surgery he was doing really good. I just wish that there was more care and sympathy from Dr. Stringham regarding my grandpa.

I was needing emergency surgery and the minute Dr. Stringham walked in the ER and started our discussion I knew I was in good hands. He has a way of being confident but yet comforting. He took the time to discuss the procedure and explain in a way that made sense and was understandable. Also spending time before and after the surgery to check up and make sure all was good. His bedside manners are commendable. He spent many hours in surgery making sure my issue was corrected properly and also additional procedures to keep this from occurring again. I would highly recommend Dr. Stringham to anyone that needs any medical care for thoracic issues. He is definitely in the right profession.

My visit was video as first time consultation! Dr. Stringham was incredible. He explained the procedure, answered all our questions and was so kind and easy to talk to. I am so excited and looking forward to my future surgery with him. He totally put me at ease for something that I had alot of anxiety about. His support staff person Cheryl was lovely as well. Congratulations to this practice for providing a positive experience for an anxious patient !! THANK YOU!

Dr Stringam is AMAZING! He has an absolute great bedside manner. Plus he has amazing skills as a surgeon and Doctor. When I came out of surgery my husband had just stepped out, it was earlier than expected, Dr Stringham walked around with my Dad to find him so he could tell him what they found and howxI was doing. He cares and it comes across!! I am thankful I found him. Completely recommend this amazing man. Lorrie Tomac

Dr. Stringham was very helpful and even discussed with other doctors what would be best since I have a few different problems. He was professional and friendly and showed much caring about my problems.
