Intermountain Health American Fork Hospital

In October 2025, we visited the Intermountain Healthcare American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah. We needed some blood work labs and an EKG scan for an upcoming surgery. We were able to use one of the Hospital wheelchairs, since walking can be problematic. We were able to get the blood drawn for the blood work tests and then find out the schedule to complete the EKG scan. We were satisfied with the care that we received at the American Fork Hospital of Intermountain Healthcare.

I am truly grateful for my experienced in Intermountain health hospital in American fork last October 15th til we discharged on October 20 and 21 for my baby who needs extra help and stayed in NICU. I ended elective csection. I felt everything , it's painful for me even I have an epidural (I don't know why my body felt it, I'm sorry for that) most esp. After the operation when they needed to push your belly so that the blood will surely seems good, I'm not sure what was that called, but so painful ( I was hoping they stop checking on it every time they needed but I didn't have choice). But I do understand that everything they have done was for my sake and I am so grateful for that. My experienced was great they really care for each of the patients there and the babies. The nurses, doctors and staffs are excellent. I love the foods too, I hope I could stay longer there and order a lot of delicious foods(kidding inside). God bless to every nurses, doctors and staffs there, most especially all the patients and babies. I am still praying that they can recover quickly and well so that they can go home with their loving parents at home. My cs marks was good until now my 7 weeks . I am happy that our baby Silas has no longer have the oxygen tank at home ,no loud noise from the monitor, no more shocking and nervous. He has a proper breathing now. Thank you so much.

I gave birth at this hospital and was previously very worried about interventions happening, unnecessarily or being pressured to do something I didn't feel comfortable with. When I got to the hospital while in active labor, the nurses asked about my birth plan and read it and followed it perfectly without much instruction. I felt very in control and respected and supported during my labor and recovery. It was the best experience I think that it could have been, and I'm very grateful for the wonderful team that took care of me and my baby during this important moment in our lives. I will forever remember the nurse, Joy, who helped me labor and made me feel very comfortable and safe! I was able to go completely unmedicated thanks to the support of my husband and the nurse team that helped me get through the labor and they never offered me an epidural per my request. I would definitely give birth here again lol!

We had a really positive experience delivering our baby at AF hospital most recently. Barrett, the anesthesiologist who worked with us in Labor & Delivery, really went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and that I felt confident before, during, and after my C-section. He offered to take family pictures for us in the operating room once the baby was born and helped me stay calm during the whole surgical process. We had lots of wonderful nurses. We especially enjoyed our time with Brittany in Labor & Delivery and with Camie and Kylie in Mother/Baby. They were all friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and we really felt like they cared! If we are still in the area by the time we have another baby, we feel confident in coming back to AF hospital when the time comes, and that we will be well taken care of!

Very impressed. Natalia and the other nurses and doctor are absolutely the best. The service in the ER was done seamlessly as each person did their job efficiently and always with kindness and compassion. I've been to ERs which have been chaotic and stressful but not here. The atmosphere was soothing and organized. Even though my wife was in a lot of pain from a kidney stone, they made sure she was warm with blankets. She had a hard time finding veins but the nurse was able to retrieve blood and bring in an ultrasound nurse to find a better vein to pinpoint it and set up a pic line I believe to administer fluid and meds. Also did a CT scan and sent us home in an hour.
