Dr. Kofi and the staff are outstanding! I'm so thankful that he accepts NC Medicaid - HealthyBlue. Friendly, professional, and direct. I highly recommend.

My care has been neglected for several months starting April 2024 and going into a years time. This office either has a fax machine that doesn't work or they don't get emails. Weird! I've been coming here since 2008 and the one time my health is detrimental, they are treating me like someone who doesn't know the healthcare system. I've never been in this situation. I almost lost everything, employment due to the neglect. My job stating I failed to send paperwork that only comes from the office. Where am I wrong for being upset? It's been a year now. I've asked several times for an office manager for Dr. Bruce to call and scold me about the failing of the practice. Today I was released from care because they have neglected care and fail to want to rectify it. If it weren't for my family, I wouldn't be here today. My job, my career, my masters degrees down the drain. While they tell me go apply for social services. I'm not that person but now have zero choice. Hoping to find another provider who cares. I've been in healthcare over 20 years and I've never seen this practice and it be acceptable. Good luck to others but if you need help be sure to have a supportive group.

Dr. Bruce is absolutely amazing! Thank God my wife found him. Most Doctors are in and out. Dr. Bruce is the most thorough doctor I have met with a staff led by Barbara that also gets five stars. Keep up the phenomenal work and love you show your patients. God Bless you Dr, Kofi

On January fourteenth, I went to my appointment at Dr Capps office. she had been treating me for a couple years and knew all of my medical issues. My family surprised me with a Service Dog, one of the happiest days of my life. I could not wait for the Dr Capp to meet him! I signed in , sat down and waited to be called. Much to my surprise, Dr Capp came out to the waiting room and told me I would have to get the dog out of the office. he was clearly marked "Service Dog". I saw Dr Mensah through the window seemingly waiting for me to leave as though she was acting on his orders. I was amazed that a doctor had no idea of the Federal Law with regards to service dogs. She managed to say "all the wrong things" to me. Kicking my Service dog out is in violation to Federal law. Saying that there could be people in the waiting room with allergies is not a good reason to kick us out. Making SPECIAL appointments when there are no people in the office is in violation of my civil rights. There are two reasons to ask a service animal to be removed is if it is out of control or goes to the bathroom on the floor. There are two place where service dogs can't go. The OR in a hospital and a burn unit in a hospital. I move to a new doctor the very next day. I figured if you are not up to date with one medical issue you might be out of date with your treatment practices too. I did send her office a copy of the Federal Law so that the next person in line with a service dog does not get the poor treatment that I did.

Dr. Bruce -Mensah is an excellent MD and very caring physician.
