I had a very good experience with Dr Bower and his staff. I had a surgery coming up and he was very helpful in expediating my test he wanted to run on me. It was very helpful and much appreciated. I had one of my tests done and he promptly told me the results, which was great news. He had scheduled me another test just a few days from now hoping for some additional good news so I can move on with my surgery. Thanks for all your help Dr Bower.

I saw Dr.James Bower recently. He was horrible. I was the first patient of the day. I checked in via phone. I was early so had to wait outside the office. The office opened a few minutes late, not a big deal at this point. I continued to wait in the office. Finally I was brought back. I waited in the office. After a few minutes a pleasant young lady entered and took an EKG. She reported to me that it was a normal EKG. A few minutes later Dr.Bower came in. He listened to my heart and stated that it sounded normal. I began to explain to him that my symptoms have subsided after quitting caffeine. I also tried to express my thoughts on my symptoms, but he did not allow me. He then told me he was going to start me on Cardizem. When I tried to express my discomfort with taking a new medication when my symptoms have subsided he began to speak over me, cut me off. He did not allow me to speak. He explained to me his plan and without allowing me to voice my opinion, began to walk me out the office to the desk. He spent 5-10 minutes with me and this was a first time patient appointment. I have been a nurse for over 20 years with many years in Cardiology. I have never seen such a poor assessment. Listening is an important skill in medicine. Dr.Bower definitely does not possess this skill. I felt bullied and unheard during this appointment. I have never written a bad review but felt it was a necessity to share.

I was seen promptly. Greeted cordially, by Dr. Bower! He personally took my vitals, went over my records with me and asked of any issues I may be concerned with! He took precious time with me so I would know him better and learn more about who I am trusting my heart to! I was followed up with an appointment for 6 months! Sweet and neat, thank you for being so kind and caring!

I was referred from the ER the previous evening. Dr Bower agreed to see me the next day (I had been on a 3 month waiting list and experienced seizure like symptoms, vomiting and BP of up to 182 five times). I had done everything I could with diet, rest and supplements. He slotted me in and finally made me feel like someone else has control over this, as I do not. I had to call to check something and he text me back. Impressed and less stressed.

Dr bower very nice, understanding, and professional glad I found him makes the other doctors look like they don't know what they doing. I feel very safe and comfortable under his care
