My mother had a stress test scheduled for today at this doctor's Startford office as she has been having intermittent chest pains. This morning, her insurance benefit was temporarily suspended as they are still processing her paperwork. The office refused to let her have the critical stress test done without 'full' and 'not discounted fee' upfront. My mom has husky and I did request them to bill me and add me as a guarantor but the staff refused. She was told to either pay full upfront , without even an option for a payment plan, or to just leave the office. My mother will get her insurance reinstated soon but we will definitely not use Hartford Healthcare. And in case my mother's health gets adversely affected then they will be contacted by our attorney.
