My experience at this hospital was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and caring. The nurses were not only skilled but also incredibly compassionate, checking in regularly and making sure we understood every step of care. The doctors took time to explain test results and treatment options in detail, which gave us a lot of comfort and confidence. The facility was clean, organized, and efficient. I'm truly thankful for the level of care and dedication shown -- it made a difficult situation much easier to handle.

On Sat. October 4, 2025. I took my 84 year old mother to the ER with gastrointestinal problems around noon. Everyone we encountered after walking through the doors was exceptionally caring and efficient. I wish I had gotten each person's name. I do know that the doctor was Dr Zhu. She was quick, kind, and very helpful in answering our questions. We were in and out in about 2 hours. I'm a retired LVN and I know how rare it is to have such great care from everyone you come in contact with. Admissions, nursing, business office, doctor, even the cleaning lady we encountered were so kind. Cudos to United Regional.

If you could give an award for worst hospital ever it would be this one. The nurses and doctors don't care to check your pre existing conditions or what you're allergic to. On multiple occasions while I had to take my mother here they consistently used the same materials that my mother was allergic to, I had told them multiple times she was allergic and all they would say was I'm sorry ?? How could a hospital staff be so careless if it is in her chart under her allergies that she is allergic to those things yet they don't care to check first before using them on her ??? The number of times this has happened exceeds over 5 which is absolutely CRAZY. On top of that the staff is rude and talk down to people. It's like they are only there to get a paycheck, they do not care about their patients while some do majority don't. They don't care about the very ill people who are there consistently not because they want to be but because they are sick and have to be. After you have been a patient and go there consistently they will get "tired" of taking care of you and make you feel as if hospice or palliative care is your only option left. They give their patients no optimism they rather tell them they should just give up and die. They will continue to push hospice care on you even though you have told them multiple times that is not what your loved one wants. They will not take up for their malpractice or negligence rather act like it never happened. Just all in all a horrible hospital please do not take your loved ones here!!!

I go in for chest pains. It started good I guess. After triage, they had me sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes. Again, not bad. Then they take me to an examination room. In there they hooked me up with wires and the they came in twice for vitals. The doctor sees me at 7 pm. He talks me into staying for a stress test in the morning. Then that's the last I heard from the nursing staff. At 9 pm no word on the move nor have anyone checked on me. I asked when I was going to be moved and they said after doctor came and seen me. We'll he did at 7. They didn't even know. While I was in the examination room, there no gowns, one sheet. No pillow or blanket. So in my opinion United Regional is crap. It's all about the money and not the patience.

This review is based on a neurologist appointment. My mother waited months for an appointment to see a doctor of neurology but had to settle for finally getting an appointment with a doctor's nurse practitioner N.P. Gordon in Wichita Falls. My mom is elderly and uses a walker. My wife and I drove almost 3 hours to Burkburnett from south of Granbury to pick up my mom and take her to her appointment in Wichita Falls. We called in route to let them know we'd be a few minutes late and arrived 10 minutes late to the parking lot and about 11 minutes late to the receptionist's window after running down the hall. We explained to the receptionist that we had drove 3 hours just to get there as we are the only immediate family within a 3 hour distance and she said they usually set a 10 minute window but that she shouldn't have to reschedule. Minutes later, another person probably a medical assistant said that she'd have to reschedule because we missed the 10 minute window and the next appointment wouldn't be until mid to late October. This doctor and her nurse practitioner claim that their focus is on compassionate care. Where is that so called compassionate care for patients? If they are honest they should remove their claim of being compassionate. I could understand requiring someone to reschedule beyond 30 minutes but not just 11 minutes. They will make a patient sit in the waiting room for extended time frames anyway. I personally believe they treat patients this way because they know there is very little to zero options in the region for neurologists. God forbid they show up 11 minutes late to a personal appointment after driving 3 hours and they say sorry, you missed our 10 minute window by a minute or 2 and get treated like that. I'd say avoid this provider but when they are one of very few providers, there really isn't any choice. I'd give zero stars if it were an option.
