South Heart Clinic - Weslaco

It's extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. When someone finally answers, they usually transfer you to another extension where no one picks up. They recently called to offer an earlier appointment, but when I returned the call, I couldn't reach anyone after multiple attempts. It's very frustrating and feels like either the phone system isn't functioning properly or the office is seriously understaffed. I truly dread having to call this clinic because getting help or answers is almost impossible.

South Heart clinic in Weslaco is a new addition to the practice. Very aesthetically designed. Dr. James Stone is an excellent physician, he demonstrates genuine care for his patients. He is very thorough and explains everything so the patient can understand. Highly recommend this doctor.

Appointments are kept pretty tight. 2 hrs visits so not too bad.

I like the new place. Nice and shiny. The sliding windows does nothing to keep the volume down when the staff is talking and laughing which seems to annoy the patients in the lobby- was my observation. The new registration system seems to take longer than the old one they had. Ms Francis, seems to be working as hard as ever! Good luck ladies in this new environment. May it be a great blessing to you all ! Ps, love that there is much more room in the lobby and hope it helps for social distancing. There is also more parking spots which helps lots. So thank you. I didn't get to go to the back but they called in about 5 set of patients so I guess they must have another waiting room or one waits in the room.

Brought my grandma here for some test results, no check up or nothing just results. They had called my grandma the day before that she needed to be here before 10am, so I got her here around 9ish. Waited to about 10:30 and asked the front desk what was taking long they told me her appointment wasn't till 10:50 and she can not be called till then. I didn't like the miss information she had to be here about an hour before she was gonna get seen so now it's 11:02 and we still have yet to be called just to be read some results. Not impressed by this clinic that's only open on Fridays
