At RGV VVI, we are dedicated to treating peripheral artery disease (PAD) and chronic venous disease. This clinic is led by Pedro Mego, MD, FSCAI, an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist. Our main goals are to improve the leg circulation to avoid amputation and allow wounds to heal. The RGV VVI in Weslaco and Edinburg are sister clinics to Mission Vascular & Vein Institute (MVVI). MVVI was established in January 2020 and is well recognized as providing high-quality service in the region.

I had a great experience from Dr Mego and his staff. Jenny did my ultrasound today and was also present during my procedure everyone was so friendly and courteous. Everyone made feel as ease cause I was very anxious at the beginning. Great experience I've had so far I highly recommend
I had my first appointment at RGV Vascular and Vein in Weslaco, and it was a great experience. The staff was really nice, and I didn't have to wait long. The medical assistant, Yuli, was amazing!!, very kind, and professional. She explained every step clearly and made sure I understood what was happening. You can tell she really cares about her patients and knows her job well, which made me feel completely at ease. Dr. Silver was also very patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
The staff was very friendly. Anna the receptionist scheduled my appointment and was quick to work with my schedule. The medical assistants Yuli and Angel were excellent and very caring and definitely made me feel comfortable. The PA Silver was very helpful. He made sure to explain the situation and answered my questions and concerns. He allowed me to explain what I was feeling while making me feel comfortable and validated. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking for great service.
The staff here is awesome. Compared to other clinics I've gone to, this is by far the best. Thank you to Lupita and Jenny for doing my ultrasounds they were very kind and patient with me. Thank you to Anna she was very very helpful. Thank you to the MA's as well they were awesome. Silver explained everything very well to me too.
This clinic is wonderful! Dr.Mego and his staff are very nice and responsible. Jenny did my ultrasound of my legs and was very respectful and attentive and made me feel at peace. I highly recommend this Dr and the staff!
