Waco Heart & Vascular

I'm from Colorado and moved here last year. I've made several appointments both for my heart and my legs. My experience has been exceptional. The staff is friendly and professional. My second time there the girl receiving the patients knew my name immediately. Impressive! One of the other things is that they never make me wait more than 4 or 5 minutes once I check in. The doctors have been great too! They don't seem like they are in a hurry and always stay to talk and make sure I don't have any questions. I thought I had great doctors in Colorado! I willing at put my reputation on the line for the Doctors and staff at WH&V. They are in a whole different class!

Extremely disappointed in this office and its staff. I called today for an appointment. Luckily they had a same day appointment and could see me. I'm self pay and was advised I didn't need a referral. So far so good. I leave work early and make the almost one hour drive for my appointment. I go to the counter and give the lady my name. She recognized my name and said she was the one who took my call. She starts typing away on her computer and says I guess I didn't "Save" your appointment we may have to reschedule. I just stare at her. She continues to type away and mumble a few words I couldn't understand. She looks at me and says we need your medical records. I say to her I specifically asked you what all you needed and what was the self pay cost. She then states they won't see you. At this point I'm at a loss. I don't feel good and don't know what's going on so I have no choice but to leave. They instead could have said we can see you to discuss what's going on and send a request for your records. If we feel that additional testing is needed since we don't have current records this will be an additional charge. I would have gladly paid the additional fees. They came recommended by my family doctor and because I trust him I wanted to be seen there. Now I have nothing but anger and frustration towards this facility and because of that if asked I will gladly give an unkind opinion of the practice. It would have been nice if an office manager would have come out and apologized for the inconvenience but that did not happen. I wasn't even offered a new appointment just that they wouldn't see me. Sincerely hope this review lands In the right hands.

Amazing doctors and friendly excellent heart center. Dr Keylani and Jipescu are very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and kind. They do save lives everyday with their great knowledge, care and great equipments and technologies. Highly recommend. Thank you

If actually seeing the provider and having a patient care oriented facility is a priority, do not go to this clinic as you will not be a priority you're just a number and they don't care whether they see you or not. If you have a serious condition, you may die before you actually see the provider.

**UPDATE** I was re-referred to them for more testing. This experience was much better. Was seen very quickly, received results in a timely manner and had a follow up that went wonderfully. The issues experienced previously were well explained, this visit has restored my confidence and I will continue my treatments through them. I was never contacted with the results from my testing. Results were also not sent to my referring physician and when requested, it has been 3 weeks and still no records received. In today's technology where most information is stored electronically, there is no excuse for this. This is my heart...where is theirs **interestingly enough, after this review, records were received.
