Patient
My Grandmother was a patient of hers but not anymore. My grandmother told her that she did not want to be on any heart medication that would lower her heart rate. My grandmother communicated that her concerns about the heart medication was due to the fact that her mother had died from taking heart medication and that she did not want the same outcome to happen to her. Dr. Bryant assured my grandmother that the medication she was prescribing would not lower her heart rate and so my grandmother trusted her. Shortly after taking the medication my grandmother began having heart palpitations and her heart rate was dropping so she went to a heart specialist. The specialist told my grandmother that it was the heart medication that she was taking and took her off of them. A simple Google search, not years of medical school, was performed by my grandmother and it revealed that the medication prescribed to her by Dr Bryant did, infact, cause a lower heart. And now, due to the incompetence and complete lack of care, concern or consideration from Dr Bryant my grandmother has to wear a pacemaker.
