I don't normally leave reviews, but I have to share that I had a very pleasant experience at a doctors appointment in the Nacogdoches office today. The staff and Dr. Patel were amazing and I'm glad I found them! Highly recommend!

Gaurav Patel, MD, RPVI, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist with the UT Health East Texas Heart and Vascular Institute in Tyler who specializes in interventional and general cardiology. He is certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and interpretation of vascular studies. In addition to complex percutaneous coronary interventions for coronary artery disease and interventions for peripheral arterial disease, he focuses on endovascular interventions for pulmonary embolism, including mechanical thrombectomy and catheter-directed fibrinolytic therapy. He treats patients 18 years of age and older.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Patel. He was friendly, professional and showed true interest in what my issues were. He left me feeling like he was really invested in getting me the best help available. His staff was just as good as he was. Highly recommend this doctor and his team.

I genuinely wish I could give him 0 Stars. Extremely dull, told me my echo, and EKGs, and heart rhythms were completely normal and that nothing was wrong with me, (I was having alot of passing out episodes, chest pain, and palpitations) and then a week or two later I go get a second opinion From Dr. Torres (WHO IS AMAZING) and he said that was far from the truth. Found I had two valves leaking, and that I had SVT. And said I needed an ablation asap. So now he is getting me taken care of. Where one drs negligence could've costed me I'm so grateful I trusted my gut. The way Dr Patel was so hateful and just non caring what so ever, is beyond me. Be Aware before you see this Dr.

Dr Patel seemed concerned and open to our conversations in regard to my health situation. Wife and I were both very impressed with his responses and explanations at to what was happening with my treatments. Would highly recommend!
