About Dr. Margit Nemeth, MD
Margit Nemeth, MD, F.A.C.C., was born in Mendoza, Argentina, but grew up in Houston, Texas. Her undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin was in Mechanical Engineering, and she has a Master's degree in Cancer Biology from the UT Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston. She then attained her medical school degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by an internal medicine residency training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She returned to Houston to obtain cardiology fellowship training at the Texas Heart Institute ' St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, where she was honored as 'CCU Fellow of the Year' in 2003.
