Collom & Carney Clinic

While living in Texarkana I needed a new Primary Care Dr and called Collom and Carney to see if they could fit me in. They were so helpful and got me an appointment very quickly (same week) at the main clinic. It had been a couple of years since I'd been in to a Dr. and they reviewed my medical history and helped update my meds. When I asked about prerred pharmacies for my Rx they mentioned that they had a competitively priced pharmacy on the main floor. My out of pocket was $30 cheaper than my previous pharmacy! Since I had not seen a Dr for years, I requested a full blood panel..."No prob, we can grab a sample at the lab upstairs" The gal at the lab was calling my name as I hit the second floor. No wait. Cheery enough lab tech quickly took my samples and I was back out the door. Total time in the clinic for my wait time, Dr visit, Rx filling and blood draw was LESS THAN AN HOUR! Wow! I was so pleased! Bonus-they called me with the blood test results before the end of my workday that same day. They are an excellent choice for clinical care!

I know this place gets a bad review, so I can only speak of my experiences, the people in the lab were they draw blood are excellent and I love seeing them. My doctor, Dr. Wright, excellent, Dr. Leach excellent. Of all of the nurses Dr. Wrights nurse Deanna, I absolutely love her, she goes above and beyond to help you. You can't judge 1 experience on just 1 visit. I am constantly going to see them because I'm sick , not their fault. I hope they know how much I appreciate them, more than they will ever know. Worst clinic in Texarkana. The service Dr. Keith gave my Mom was horrible. His bedside manner is terrible. He kept making my Mom bone density test and never gave results. He took her off Calcium 10 years ago. Now that she switched, new Dr had her bone density test again. She has no calcium and is having to get calcium infusions. He likes to bill your insurance and provide crappy service. Find another clinic. I use Family Medical Group. Real doctors with an amazing, caring staff.

i called to schedule a pediatric appointment for my 6month old. they gave me a date and time which was 24 hours away from when i called so i immediately when to my supervisors at work and arranged to make it to the appointment. hours later i received a call asking if i was still attending and i told them yes. well a couple hours after this i got another call saying that they had to cancel because the pediatrician wasn't going to be there. like are you serious? i'm going to be taking my child elsewhere from now on because that is absolutely ridiculous.

Worst office for Dr. Byrnes, Ear Nose Throat. Had to leave after waiting an hour for a referred scheduled appointment. I am on portable oxygen and was not comfortable waiting that long. Staff didn't seem to care. Bad customer service.
