Zero bedside manner and has way more hubris than intellect. He actually asked why he needed to explain his decisions about care to the patient or the family prior to writing orders and changing medications. He reversed his more-experienced practice partner's decisions. He also disappeared for 3 days (no calls/no appearances) when he knew we were expecting answers. He wants to operate devoid communication, but no one wants a tele-doc in the hospital. Avoid this non-human at all costs.
If I could give Dr Iqbal 10 stars I would. He genuinely cares about his patients and their health and doesn't just treat your symptoms, he tries to find and fix the problem causing the symptoms. Not only is he wicked smart, he's also approachable and friendly. He listens to your concerns and answers all of your questions, he doesn't rush you through the appointment or make you feel like you're crazy. His MA, Amy, is also incredible! My messages are always answered promptly and she follows through with what she tells you she is going to do! They are such a great team that I wish he could be my primary doctor!
Dr. Iqbal is fantastic! He listens to your issues and works with you to help you make educated choices on care. It's such a relief to have found him after we relocated here. He came very highly recommended.
