My first impression of the front office was very negative, I waited in front of the counter for a few minutes and nobody addressed me at all. I had to asked them where I was supposed to go and they finally looked up and addressed me. While I was waiting at the waiting room, I overheard a patient checking in with the same cardiologist at the same time as my appointment, which explains why they take so long to see you after you check in. Like the rest of the reviews, the dr's assistance is extremely helpful and informative. Dr. Shah on the other hand, is not very communicative, he is short and to the point. Which it is ok with me, but as patients, we have to be more assertive and ask questions. Doctors are busy, specially when they schedule appointments at the same time for several patients. The first thing I have to do is make sure they are looking at the right records, Dr. Shah gets busy and he may be looking at the wrong record. The second thing is to make sure they reviewed your test results and ask for an explanation of the results. The third thing is to check you medications for any changes or to request refills. And, last, check to see when your next appointment is and if other tests are necessary. Dr. Shah is a highly recognize cardiologist, but he is human and in a hurry, so be proactive and assertive with your own health. Overall, I feel in good hands with Dr. Shah and his staff.

I normally don't post, but this has to be said. When I would come in to the office the girl is the front has been rude to me three times. Meet Dr. Shah for the first time he seemed that has mind was pre-occupied with something else. He wanted me to get a blood draw. Did that set up two other appointments along with a stress test. When I had my follow up, that is when I was completely disappointed in the office. Dr shah came in with his computer and start typing.he did not ask me how I was doing, I had to ask him. I had to ask him what were the results of my echo and stress test, he replied oh fine. Didn't say much to me. I had to ask questions, just to get him to talk about what I wanted to know. I said what do we do now. He said you're good. Then I showed him my phone with all the a fib I have been experiencing. He said oh you are in a fib. I can give something for that. I will give you medication to put your heart back in rhythm. Thanks see you back in 6 months and walked out the door! Stunned and not sure what to do. I stood in the doorway and the manager said go back in have a seat, I will be with you shorty. I will get with Dr shah. She printed out my prescription and told me they already sent it to the pharmacy but here is a copy for you! Not sure I have the whole A-Fib figure out!

My first appointment with Dr Shah was very productive. I explained to him that I wanted to be proactive with my heart health. He suggested a new medicine which I believe will get my cholesterol levels to a healthier level. I was very impressed with his analysis and advice, highly recommend him. Dr. Shah's staff was awesome as well!

I was referred to Dr. Shaw by my cardiologist to further evaluate ongoing chest pain that has lasted over 15 weeks. Unfortunately, my experience at this office was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We arrived early for our appointment, but still waited over 60 minutes past the scheduled time to be seen. When the doctor finally entered the room, he did not introduce himself, apologize for the delay, or acknowledge the long wait. His first words were simply, "Okay, what's going on?" -- which immediately set an uncomfortable tone. As I explained my symptoms, he quickly suggested trying new medications I had never taken before, without explaining why, what they were intended to help, or how they related to my current condition. When I questioned why heart failure medications were being recommended for an issue he later admitted did not sound cardiac at all, his reasoning was simply, "Just so we've tried it." I also had to be the one to bring up basic medical logic. For example, when he recommended a procedure "just to see," I asked whether anything serious would already show up in blood work. He paused and said, "Oh yeah, that's true," yet still pushed forward with the medication and testing plan. It was alarming to realize that I was the one pointing out inconsistencies, and even after acknowledging that what he was suggesting didn't fully make sense, he continued pushing medications and procedures with no clear justification. During the appointment, he also took a phone call in the middle of our conversation -- without excusing himself, apologizing, or indicating to the caller that he was with a patient. It was lengthy, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional, especially after making us wait over an hour. When discussing timing for a possible procedure, I explained that December was the only realistic time due to insurance. Despite this, he repeatedly pushed for January. After more questions, he openly admitted that my symptoms do not sound cardiac, yet still insisted on tests "just to do them" instead of considering other causes or reviewing my history thoroughly. Throughout the visit, he demonstrated poor bedside manner, lack of preparation, and no evidence-based reasoning behind his recommendations. The appointment ended abruptly when he simply stood up and walked out without a goodbye or summary. The overall experience felt rushed, dismissive, and financially motivated. Being advised to take medications and undergo procedures without a clear medical basis is concerning, especially when the patient has to question the doctor's reasoning for him to acknowledge inconsistencies. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and extremely uneasy. Given this experience, I cannot understand how this office maintains a 4.3-star rating. I strongly encourage other patients to advocate for themselves and seek a second opinion.

The office its self is nice . The Dr on the other hand was not so great. This was my third time seeing Dr. Shah. The first two times I saw him and a Nurse Practitioner together. On my second visit Dr. Shah received a phone call while in the room with me and he walked out to answer it without even saying anything to me. Not even excusing himself . He never came back. On my third and last appt ( I will not be returning to see him ) he never looked up at me while in the office. Never checked my pulse or listened to my heart never even told me all of the results of my blood work. Just asked how I was feeling and said we're gonna make some changes to the medications I was on. When I told him I was monitoring my blood pressure and Ive noticed it's always a little high. he said let's tackle one thing at a time. So in the meantime I just deal with it. No thanks ! I'll find another Dr who can give me the time of day. Do better Dr. Shah. Learn some bedside manners. Give your patients the respect and time they deserve.
