If they had a place I would have put no stars. September 22, 2025 Dr. Cheruku was to put a stent in my heart (he put 2). After surgery he proceeded to be hateful to my daughter telling her this operation was uncalled for and he shouldn't have had to do it (my blockage was 75-90%). Immediately things started going south, he almost ran out of the operating room. He had punctured a hole at the base of my heart and closed me up. He did not come back in to help. Dr. Marcue Urencio (who heard it on his medical scanner) came and performed open heart surgery, to repair the damage Cheruku did. Dr. Urencio was not even associated with NE Baptist. We now know Cheruku was yelling at my daughter trying to make himself look like the victim. He should lose his medical license, (if he has one). This has nothing to do with NE Baptist Hospital -- BUT Cheruku. Notice I cannot put Dr. in front of his name. He is not one.

I was checked in right away. Dr. Cheruku saw me shortly after. I was in and out within the.hour with test to set up and new appt. set for 6 mos. Everyone was very pleasant.

Dr. Cheruku was very clear about my condition. What steps we need to take and his follow-up with me once all of the test he ordered come in.

Dr. Cheruku is an outstanding physician. He is very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. The staff are friendly and helpful, the the facility is very clean.

Awesome! From the Front Desk, to the Staff, to Dr. Cheruku...nothing but Professional....Caring. Dr. Cheruku is Very Straight Forward in his evaluations and communications. The Kind of Professional I want treating me and eventually doing surgery on my heart. Dr. Cheruku cares.
