Dr. William Chein Lin C. Wu, MD

Dr Wu is an EXCELLENT Dr. He takes his time to review your medications and asks about each one, he asks about your symptoms and addresses them one by one. If he orders tests he will share with you exactly how that test will be performed. He may be busier on some days than others, but I have learned to try and not make my appointments on pacemaker check days, because those patients take longer to be seen.

Husband was referred to Dr. Wu and came highly recommended. However, Dr. Wu maybe a phenonomenal doctor but he did not serve my husband well at all. Dr. Wu had multiple tests done and he never discussed the findings of the test with us. He did a procedure on his heart and left the hospital without discussing the findings with us. He never revealed that he had congestive heart failure or leaking valves. If you are going to see this doctor be prepared and be on your toes to double check everything he does..He is too busy with too many patients and he's making bad mistakes. We will not be seeking Dr. Wu's attention because this could have cost my husband his life. My confidence in him is not good!! Enter at your own risk..... Update; After posting my previous review which is true, Dr. Wu called and gave a heartfelt apology for the way things were handled. We accept his courage and kindness to have the courage and tenacity to render an apology which most would not!! So based on his actions I know he's a good man and a good doctor who cares. We all make mistakes and when we do we should acknowledge them and apologize and he did this. We accepted his apology and rescind the previous response.

Dr. Wu is a wonderful doctor. He put a stint in last June 2024 he follow-up on me very well. I've had no problems. He's been a blessing to me and many of my family members.

Unfortunately, I never got to see Dr. Wu. Initially when I called the person answering the phone was curt and a little rude but no big deal. I was told it was over 6 weeks for an appointment, so I decided I would give it a try since he had such great reviews. Made the appointment and told them my insurance info etc. Showed up for my appointment at the appointed time and was told there is a two hour wait and asked if I received their message. I did not. I asked to reschedule and was again told that I would still have to wait 2 hours to be seen. My impression is that the staff doesn't know how to appropriately run the practice and could use some additional training. Either way if your time is important and you can not sit in a waiting room for hours, I would find a different cardiologist.

Dr is GREAT I love him and the work that he's done but the staff needs to clean out house patients wait time is 4+ hours staff is rude when they answer and how they speak to patients family. I asked if that was a normal thing and they tell me "oh it's longer than that" which is something not to be proud of
