I've been going here for a couple of years now. The good: Dr. Vinson is great. Excellent demeanor, super thorough, and spends all the time you want to ensure he answers every question. This is why I've continued to return despite the negatives below. The bad: The office is run like it's the stone ages. Appointments are routinely late (once by a full hour), the available hours are minimal, and it's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. When I leave a voicemail, I get a response about 50% of the time. There are also billing issues - I was charged two co-pays for a single visit at one point. Another time I was charged my co-pay for a 2-minute follow-up call from a previous appointment I'd already paid for. They did say that they would fix both of those (TBD). The final straw for me to finally write this review was my most recent appointment, which I made specifically to get a certain scan done. I showed up and they had me meet with the doctor instead, while saying vague things about not wanting to overwhelm the scan tech. It took me a while to realize they were actually saying I wouldn't be able to get the scan that day. I had no need to meet with the doctor prior to the results of the scan, so I wasted 2 hours (I have to drive a ways to get there) of my packed day for literally no reason and now I have to go do it all over again because they made me reschedule the scan for another day. Absolutely infuriating. If you value your time, I unfortunately can't recommend going to this practice but they do not value it at all.

Y'all missed out on my business. First, no one ever answers the phone?? Crazy since I've been calling trying to confirm information for an appointment. Additionally, the receptionist is super unhelpful and rude. Why does she sound like im waisting her time when I call in with questions??? Doesn't matter, called a diffrent office and had no issues, so I never have to think about this terrible place again.

A year later and I continue to get emails for Round Rock Cardiology, despite never having had anything to do with them and being in a different country. If your doctor's office is too dumb to figure out email addresses, should you really trust them with your heart? Round Rock Cardiology keeps giving out my email address. I don't work for them. I don't live in Texas. I'm not American. I'm tired of constantly getting spam because of them. I wouldn't trust a doctor who doesn't even know his email address.

Dr Vinson is one of the most thoughtful, empathetic and outcome-focused doctors I have ever known. I've been a patient for years and he simply is the best at what he does.
