Dr Mitchell Wong is always in a hurry, and can't be bothered to listen to your problems or teach you anything about what you should do. I was doing his job for him, to get the testing and referrals I needed, and he had the audacity to say he would not order anymore non routine testing. Then WHY AM I PAYING YOU? I come to you because i have many confusing health issues and feel like I am dying and you do NOTHING but GATEKEEP and DENY ME SERVICE. I have literally done your job better than you for myself. Bye Felicia!

I normally never write reviews but I suppose this is a rare exception. I'm sure Dr. Wong is very talented, unfortunately he wasn't interested in anything I had to say, or the specific reasons I came for a visit. He did seem to be very interested in going through his routine so he get on to the next patient. Easily the worst session I've ever had with any physician. To make things more complicated, they informed me that I was there for a physical and that I should have been fasting for the blood draw but yet didn't tell me or sent me any pre appointment instructions.

I never write reviews about doctors and even if I feel like they're leading me the wrong way or wasting my time, I don't write reviews or try to say anything negative about them but Dr. Wong is a completely different story. My usual P.A is Nicole Smith who is amazing but she is booked up for the next 2 weeks and Dr. Wong is the only one who's available, which should've been my first red flag. I go in because I'm having stomach pains, I tell them I think it's an ulcer, and neither him nor his assistant listened to me. He tells me to get a CT scan and I told him I would rather not get it done because I feel it's unnecessary and feels exactly like an ulcer, like ones I've had in the past. He ignores me and tells me it's appendicitis, even though my right side hasn't been bothering me at all until he pushed hard on it and is in and out in less than 10 minutes. His assistant comes in and I tell her I don't know if I feel ok with getting the scan done because it's very expensive (I don't have insurance right now because I moved from part time to full time at my job and my health insurance hasn't kicked in yet) and I feel it's unnecessary and she makes me feel stupid and like I don't understand my own body. She basically tells me I either get the scan or I'm going to the ER and they're not responsible for what happens. Before she told me that, she already booked an appointment for me to get the CT scan today so I didn't really have any choice. I go get the scan done and they told me what I already know, it's not appendicitis. I call the office back because Dr. Wong didn't prescribe me anything, he basically just handed me off to the ARA office to deal with me and so I wouldn't be a pain to him anymore. I have to call the office to get anti nausea medicine and when his assistant calls me back, she tells me he put the prescription in and everything looked great on my scan and I just need to wait it out. So he doesn't prescribe me anything until I beg for it, I waste almost 1K for a different doctor to tell me something I already know, and he can't even tell me any over the counter medicine to take or what to do to relieve it, nothing actually useful. Do NOT waste your time with Dr. Wong, I promise there's better doctors out there and I had to learn the hard way that there's a reason why doctors like this are available all the time. All the good doctors who genuinely care about their patients get booked up and the ones who aren't, never are. Next time you pick a new doctor, make sure them and their assistants actually listen to you without dismissing you and belittling you for explaining your concerns.

Dr. Wong is very thorough in our visits. I liked him so much that my wife, father-in-law, and mother-in-law have all gone to him for health evaluation and treatment. We felt cared for and he listens very well. After listening and diagnosing us he was able to tell us confidently what health issue was and or if we needed more testing. Great thing is he knows Cantonese so my relatives were very happy they could be understood when they brought up our concerns. Would absolutely recommend Dr. Wong. We wish he could continue to be our doctor where we have relocated to.

I went to Dr. Wong to take my aunt to his practice because she had fallen and hit her head, and her ears were bleeding. He didn't check any of her vital signs; he only looked into her ears and said Yep, they're bleeding and said I'm going to send you to physical therapy for your core and keep taking Tylenol. What he said made no sense. After looking in my ears, I asked him if I had an infection, and he said no, you do not. I took her the next day to another doctor, and she had an infection. And was given antibiotics. Please stay away from this doctor he seems like you are bothering him and he probably took 10 minutes total time with her.
