About Dr. Angel Caldera, MD
Dr Caldera completed his Vascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and completed his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr Caldera's areas of clinical and research interest include Vascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Structural and Valvular Heart Disease and Vascular Medicine. He specializes in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement ( TAVR) He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and is an active voting member of the Peripheral Arterial Disease Committee of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI).

I have a really unique issue that many drs cannot find out what is causing it. Dr. Caldera was the first Baylor Scott and White Dr. I saw and from day 1 when we met him he was so thorough, listened, understood the impact this had on my life, and most importantly didn't think I was making this up. He wanted to be able to say he was the dr who found me an answer and he left no stone unturned. While we are so grateful it is not my heart he also understood the disappointment of still not having a clue what is wrong. But I also know even though he couldn't get me the answer he is still a huge supporter if mine. I will be ever so grateful to him and is efforts. Best cardiologist I have even been too.
