Extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this clinic's billing department.
The clinic submitted an incorrect insurance claim, billing an annual physical as a regular doctor visit. At the beginning, they admitted the mistake and confirmed that the wrong claim was filed. We were told it would be corrected and resubmitted properly to insurance.
However, months later, we received an updated explanation of benefits from the insurance company showing the same error again -- still billed as a doctor visit. When we contacted the insurance company, they clearly told us the clinic must correct and resubmit the claim. When we contacted the clinic again, we were sent in circles with no resolution.
This issue dragged on for months, caused unnecessary stress, wasted a huge amount of our time, and forced us to repeatedly call both the clinic and the insurance company. What should have been a simple correction turned into an ongoing billing nightmare.
At this point, it is easier not to go to this clinic anymore than to keep dealing with their billing errors.
My advice to anyone visiting this clinic: double-check that the front desk and billing clerks submit the correct type of claim before you leave, especially for annual physicals. Otherwise, you may find yourself fighting billing issues for months.
Very frustrating experience, poor follow-up, and lack of accountability.

My EKG Service was fine no problem at all. When I went to do my blood work is where it got a little bit uncomfortable. The ladies in there were not very friendly. One was on the phone telling her personal business in which you could hear the other one that was drawing my blood was not very friendly at all didn't even pull the curtain back for me to escort me out . Overall poor customer service with the lab dept .

I'm a current Kelsey-Seybold patient, and I recently tried to switch my daughter to their care. Unfortunately, scheduling a new patient appointment for her was a complete nightmare. Even after confirming with my insurance provider that our coverage is active, Kelsey-Seybold kept insisting that my insurance was inactive.
We spoke to at least three different representatives, and most of them were not welcoming or easy to communicate with. It was frustrating and disappointing. The only positive part of the experience was one person from the "main office" who was actually helpful and friendly.
After spending an hour trying to re-verify my insurance, they were still unable to resolve the issue, so I ended up scheduling an appointment with my daughter's current provider instead. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating, and it has made me reconsider bringing my daughter to Kelsey-Seybold and even consider switching my wife and me to another provider as well.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at Kelsey-Seybold Seabrook on FM 1093 in Richmond, TX. We booked an appointment for our son's annual physical through ZocDoc, and after driving 30 minutes to get there, we were turned away. The staff insisted that we had only booked an office visit, not an annual physical, despite our repeated attempts to explain that we booked the appointment specifically for a physical. They refused to see us and offered no solution or help.
It's extremely frustrating to waste time and be turned away over what seems like a scheduling error that we had no control over. The staff showed no flexibility or willingness to work with us, even though we clearly booked the correct appointment on our end.
It felt like they didn't care about the inconvenience they caused us, and we left with no resolution after making the effort to get there. We trusted their system and scheduled properly, yet we were treated like we made the mistake. This was a terrible experience, and we won't be returning. I strongly advise others to double-check their appointments and be prepared for poor customer service if you choose this location.
