Mitch Magee, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon who serves as Surgical Director of Thoracic Surgery and Thoracic Oncology at Methodist Richardson Medical Center and has practiced at numerous DFW area hospitals since 1998. Dr Magee is a pioneer in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and recognized expert, having authored more than 100 articles or book chapters in notable medical journals and textbooks, on minimally invasive (VATS) techniques, patient-care quality measures, diagnosis staging and treatment of lung cancer, esophageal cancer, tumors of the thymus and mediastinum, and surgical treatment of myasthenia gravis, hyperhidrosis, and emphysema.
