I saw Dr. Abochamh several years ago in my early 20s complaining of my heart rate staying very high, chest pain, inability to exercise due to my heart rate being so high, dizziness, heat intolerance, constant palpitations, migraines, etc. to the point that I was struggling working and was rudely dismissed because, in his exact words, I was not "fat or old" and didn't need to be there, and essentially to just deal with it because there was nothing wrong with me. I am coming back to write this review today because, after years of being afraid to see another cardiologist due to my horrible experience and leaving his office in tears, I finally decided to seek help again, and after extensive testing with a very caring cardiologist, I was diagnosed with a rare autonomic condition (that is typically diagnosed and treated by a cardiologist) that I was finally able to receive help for and finally have some relief, while Dr. Abochamh did not even care to look into and very very quickly dismissed me. If you are young and appear "healthy" I suggest you find a different cardiologist that has better bedside manner and will take your symptoms seriously. Dr. Abochamh, I genuinely hope you read this review and understand how your dismissiveness negatively impacted my life for many years. Being dismissed so rudely and told that there was nothing wrong with me, your overall lack of concern, and carelessness to do further testing caused me to unnecessarily suffer for several more years. Just because someone is young and appears healthy on the surface doesn't mean their symptoms are in their head.

I left my appointment feeling like just another number. I provided the doctor a copy of a PETscan that was performed just the week before my stress testing. The scan says mildly enlarged heart. He glances over the report and tells me I am perfectly healthy. I am a third time cancer occurrence patient at the moment, how am I perfectly healthy?
