There is a huge disconnect between front desk, billing and nurses/ doctor. They do not communicate with you any plan nor do they care . I was never informed or notified on needing to go back . I only found a over a year ago when I felt I needed to check on something. I have used so much time explaining the same situation to different parts of the office when I call and they have all told me different things with different directions and contradicted on anoher. The nurse would give me next steps and the front desk would completely contradict it. This happened several times. The front desk system is incredibly lacking. It is evident this office is not in sync and each part acts independently from the other. This clearly ripples out to patient care as in my situation I wasn't even aware I was needing to go back. There was only one thing really great about this office and it is a rotational nurse- Latoya. She is outstanding but unfortunately I cant say the same thing for anything else. I would not recommend this office to anyone I cared about.

I went in for a routine heart catheter in which there were issues during the procedure. Dr Boorla let my husband know I would not need to come see her again. After, no one from Dr. Boorla's team checked on me before I left the hospital. I let the recovery nurse know I was having issues with my eyes and feeling nauseous. I was told this was normal for this procedure. At no point did the nurse have a doctor check on my concerns. I was released to go home and was not given any information of what to possibly look out for. Three hours later I was taken to another hospital due to being unresponsive. I would discourage everyone not to use Dr. Boorla and Texas Health Presbyterian Plano hospital.

Great doctor! She does a wonderful job and is very attentive and thorough. I wish the billing was better. They require a payment before seeing them up front. Not a problem but then sending me a new bill each month after I already paid the last one seems ridiculous. After already paying $58 at the initial visit, $113 after the visit for random things that they said was not covered with insurance, two months later I have now received a new bill for $43. I'm not sure why I keep getting more bills for a visit that should have already been reconciled. I really do believe the Texas Health group that she is a part of works to add on after the bill when it's already been reviewed by insurance so they can get more of your money. It's kind of ridiculous especially when there is no breakdown of what has already been paid and why there are new charges.

Dr. Boorla has been more than gracious in helping my mom with her heart situation as well as taking care of mine. She has A+++++ bed side manners and is extremely kind. Moreover, she is very thorough and I am very pleased with the care she has given to mom and I. I never once felt rushed and she actually listens. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Dr. Boorla! I met her when I was admitted to the hospital due to a cardiac event. She was amazing from the very beginning. Dr. Boorla took time to answer all of my questions and put me at ease even though my condition was extremely critical. I feel very blessed that I have such a wonderful doctor that truly cares about her patients! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!!!!
