Dr Binder is a pleasant and likable non-intervenist cardiologist. He's been around and has a lot of patients and known name (carrier longevity). I've been seeing him for years and felt good as he told me what a good shape I was in. But for the past couple of years the health organization he works with over books him or he allows it (saving up for retirement?) . Very hard to see him if you need him, once they make you a patient, and even after several weeks or months wait, may give you an evening appointment (7:30 pm) and then he seems too tired to be of any use. He is also become way too laid back and in my case missed the danger signs which for a cardiologist it means you can have a heart attack and die under his supervision. Funny that and it seemed not phase him a bit, like nothing happened, nada. Maybe too tired to be phased. In fact you won't get to make an appointment to see him to let him know you just had a heart attack, what should I do now my dear cardiologist, until months later, so that you need to see another cardiologist for post cardiac arrest care. Although this maybe a good thig in his case since he would not have the time or energy to care anyway and would just want to get the visit over and go cursively see another patient. When I told him I had a hear attack and could not get an appointment to see him afterwards (forget him coming to the hospital), in his usual pleasnat way, he said well doctors need time off too and the best thing is, next time to go on the waiting list in case another patient cancels. No feeling of responsibility for the fact that he had kept telling me that I am in a great shape when I was a ticking bomb. Anyway, I wouldn't mind being his friend as he is cool guy but done being his patient.

First visit and extremely impressed with Dr. Binder! He knew my medical history and recent test results through the BSW portal before meeting with me. Dr. Binder is not only friendly, personable and easy to talk to, he was attentive, wonderful listener and answered all of my questions. Dr. Binder explained next steps including the reason for each step/test. Appointment didn't feel rushed and he was genuinely focused on my heart health needs. This was honestly one of the best Doctor visits I have ever had!

He is very friendly & listens to what you say and makes a homely environment from the very beginning. It was an amazing experience. He is very knowledgeable and does appropriate diagnostics and I got total relief from his process and advice. I can't express his quality by writing. I am extremely surprised that he is beyond my expectations. Wonderful.
