My husband has been seeing Dr. Wurstburg for about 2 years and I have questioned him multiple times about possible blockage and he said he was monitoring this, no worries. Then last week about a month or 2 after his last visit he had a massive heart attack with90% blockage. He was really on top of it!! Now he is having a triple bypass in Dallas!! I don't trust him. Please think twice before you put your loved one in his care.
His staff doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing or how a professional doctors office should be run. A doctor is only as good as his support staff.
We can never ever get to a person on the phone. The nurse finally called back and acted so mad because she had to make a phone call to a patient. She was soo rude and unprofessional. We will move to another cardiologist and this is not the first time there have been problems with his medical staff. We've always been very fond of Dr Wurzburg but his staff or that Nurse is for sure lacking in compassion and over all patient/nurse relationship. This call was on this date 1/2/24@ 1:00pm.
My mother will never go back to see Dr. Wurzburg! We waited over 2 hours to see him. He didn't spend more than 5 minutes with my mother, go over her change in meds, didn't listen to her heart, literally nothing. He came into her room and walked out to his next room that's it. Worst healthcare experience ever. He cares nothing for his patients from what I saw
Dr Wurzburg is not the most personable Doctor I've ever seen... but he is one of the most knowledgeable. He was quick to figure out exactly what was going on with my heart (A-Fib) and exactly what I needed to live a normal life in spite of my A-Fib. Personally, give me a doctor like Wurzburg who knows what he's doing and leave the sweet talkers to those who feel they need them.
