I've heard good things about Dr. Hashmi and since my mother was recommended to him, we were confident we were in good care. Today upon arrival the staff was kind and friendly and the office itself is very pleasant. Why 1 star? Because we were put in the "overflow" category and we were seen by Dr. Hanif. My veterinarian has better bedside manners than this person. He was very rude, walked in with no introduction and started barking questions at my poor senior mom. I stepped in to help answer them as you can tell he was clearly making her anxious. A staff member came to ask him a question and he was horrible to her as well. It's not ok to treat staff like they're servants, it's not OK to treat patients with such callousness. I don't care if he's only in the office once or twice a year, he shouldn't be dealing face to face with any patients with this level of abrasiveness. I don't know what situation is going on here where he works once or twice a year, that in an of itself is questionable and adds to our concerns. I'd rather drive to Frisco to see a professional dr than to subject my mother to his treatment again.
