I am very disappointed with the new system for scheduling! They moved my appointment but changed my Doctor? Then when I called to verify appointment, it was a different Dr and he was not even in today! Wanted to see if appointment for Friday with Dr Farra they said it was already full so I could not see. Dr till the following week like it was no big deal!! I have had numerous tests do with no follow up, I am having issues and they do not seem to care . The appointment system is the worst! I have had a massive heart attack 9 years ago, having issues and had a number of expensive test done and still having issues! It is affecting my life and it is scary and they do not seem to care! I have had much better service in Austin I like Dr Farra but dislike the new scheduling system! Very up setting and it is my health the answering service does not care about!

This place is a total waste of time! The wife had a terrible time trying to make an appointment. The office said they would call to confirm it, we received no call. On the day of the penciled, unconfirmed appointment, we tried to call the office again without any luck. We arrived at 1.40 for the penciled in 1.45 appointment, which was the first one after their lunch break. We paid our copay and sat down. 40 minutes later, the wife asked how long it would be, the response was stunning, "it is usual for the doctors to be 30 minutes to an hour late on appointments because of overrun from previous patients. When I asked how that was possible as we were to first appointment after their lunchbreak? The very rude receptionist then snapped, "we are a specialist clinic. I am not sure what that has to do with our appointment. In my oppinion, THESE PEOPLE SIMPLY DO NOT CARE!

Called to get a prescription filled for my 91 year-old mother. The automated system says to call the pharmacy or log into patient portal for refills. The pharmacy said they need a new prescription for the meds before they can be refilled. Logged into the patient portal, and the system said "Unable to login. Please try again at another time." So I called the office and left a message. Thankfully, I am able to be my mother's advocate. How do seniors, some with limited tech skills and no one to advocate for them, navigate this rodeo?

Stay away. This practice is a revenue machine, not a people caring machine. I was in the ER and admitted to the hospital. A cardiologist from this firm visits my room and tells me to make an appointment to see him (he's the business development guy). when you make an appointment you see someone else who spends 6 minutes with you and tells you to schedule a test to be taken within 2 weeks. But the scheduler schedules it for 6 weeks out. I go back to the doctor's office and the nurse says "just keep taking the meds, you'll be all right." I tell my primary care physician and she says this is totally unacceptable and tries to reschedule it. No success. The day before my test, 6 weeks later, the office calls to reschedule because my insurance approval is "pending". I call the insurance office and they told me New Braunfels Cardiology started the pre-certification process too late. They had 6 weeks to do this! If you look at the other reviews you see consistent one-star messages about the same thing. That's because they don't read or care about you or reviews. Folks, this is an uncaring cardiology office. I went somewhere else.

Absolutely love everyone in this office. They are attentive and understanding in all my questions and concerns for my husband's health. Dr. Farra is one of the best Doctors we have ever had and has gone above and beyond in all he does for us. I love how happy he gets to see us every visit. Life has thrown us some crazy twist, but so grateful to still have hubby here on earth. You won't find a better group of doctors.
