Dr. Raj R. Patel, MD

I have been going to Dr Raj Patel for many years. The first time I saw him after he joined MDVIP he stayed in the room and was looking at my chart after the exam. Dr Raj always spent time with me but this was more than usual. I was used to him leaving to go see the next patient. He asked if there was anything else I had questions about, which I did. It was nice to be able to actually talk to my doctor instead of them rushing out. Another time I came down with the flu on a weekend. I called to get an appointment on Monday morning and they got me right in. Dr Raj chastised me for not calling him on the weekend so he could call in a prescription for me. Wow. You sure don't get that kind of treatment these days.

Dr Patel always goes above and beyond any doctor I have ever had. Just knowing Dr. Patel will answer my call 24 hours a day makes a difference to people like me. There is a sense of security with this. Especially when your on the road working a lot. Thank you you MDVIP and Thank You Dr. Raj Patel. Best Regards, Robert S Degnan

I had my appointment on the 16th of July because i suspect my Cysts got worse, I know my body and I know what is normal and what isnt. When i got there my appointment turned out to be just a yearly check up for Pap smear and pelvic check along with blood work. Which i am fine with that i guess, after i checked out, i asked how long before i heard the results, the lady said (and i quote) "It will be done next week". I waited the week after patiently for a call or a letter in the mail. nothing came, i decided to call on the 30th, to find out if my results were ready. The first lady that answered the phone placed me on hold, for a long time (If i may add) then transferred me to someone else without even notifying me or at least informing the second girl what was the reason for my call. After explaining the situation, she placed me on hold again, came back to the line and again asked me to repeat the reason for my call. finally took my name and number and said she would call me right back with the results. an hour passed and she didnt call me back so i decided to call back. Whoever answer the phone again did the exact same thing that was done to me the first time i called. just to tell me that the nurse was gone and she would call me back the next day (and again i quote her) "Early Morning. I waited all thursday for a phone call. No one called. finally i gave up on waiting for a call, so i decided to call, whoever answered the phone this time said (with an attitude) that the nurse was going to call me at 5:00pm, mind you that is no where near "Early Morning" like i was told. again, Nobody called me, neither yesterday or today. I am very upset because I expect respect, honesty, and most of all, good customer service. I understand that because i am just 1 client, maybe my business wont change much in their busy agenda. But make no mistake that ii will not recommend any one to utilize your service, as well as i will never go back to that office. In my Experience, this is by far the worse office i have been to. I am only giving them 1 star because i cant give them Zero.

I've been seeing Dr. Raj Patel for about 30 years and he's a very thoughtful, kind, and skilled physician. I understand his recommendations though I'm not always disciplined enough to follow them.
