Love the doctor, Aude. Front desk woman can be snippy. The tech with long hair parted in the middle isn't very respectful, esp with older women.
I had a nuclear stress test, and it was a terrible experience. You have to fast overnight. You get an injection of radioactive dye, after it circulates, they take a CAT scan of my heart. Then they walk me on a treadmill until my heat reaches a certain rate, they give more dye, then they take another scan of my heart. My appointment was at 9 am, but I didn't leave until 1:30 pm. There's no reason for that. There were all these old people there as a group. Some were diabetics, some had canes and were uncomfortable in the chairs, one had just come from dialysis. The whole thing should've taken no more than 2 hours. It wasn't respectful of all the old people.

What a great experience!! I was in and out fairly quickly. The office is very clean and smells amazing!! That's very important to me. Every single staff member that I came in contact with was very kind, friendly and professional. Then there is Dr. Abreu. Wow. He was so nice and professional. He also asked me a lot of questions on why I was there and explained to me the next steps of my care options. He is very knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend him.

So I Wait Months To Get The Cardiology Test Needed, Having Siezed All Weight-loss Protocol, Just To Come In & Told There Is No Results, Due To System Being Down. They Ain't Worth What The Insurance Pays Them, & Being Part Of DHR, Probably Ain't Worth The Degree, Bet I'll Still Get A Bill!

Very pleasant experience as Dr appts go. My echocardiogram was scheduled for 0830, I was in and out by 0915. I'm in and out of Drs offices constantly bc my husband has Stage IV cancer, so I'm well versed in RGV medicine. We were seen 3 hours LATE at DHR just last week. So, having such a good experience is refreshing. The tech who did my echo (I'm sorry for not getting his name), was wonderful. Thank you for doing your job well.
