Dr. Herschl B. Silberman, MD

Dr. Silberman is thorough and has a good demeanor. He is fine as a doctor. The real issue is with how the practice is run. Patients are routinely left waiting for hours with no sign of progress. I'm not just talking about a long line; I mean absolutely no movement. People sit in the lobby for 2 hours or more, and once you're finally called back, there's another long wait in the exam room. It's as if appointments are meaningless here. Waiting is a fact of life when you see any kind of doctor, but the wait here is unreasonable and it's not just sometimes- it's every time. To make matters worse, cancellations are frequent and often last-minute. If you value your time, I strongly recommend finding a practice that respects it.

Great guy great person . Terrible doctor , money maker , eternal waiting times . Un professional making patients wait hours and hours . Tests tests and tests all about money .

Dr. Silberman and his staff are very respectful, polite & professional. Yes it can be frustrating to get an appointment with him, but we realize that he has a very busy medical practice. We trust in his expertise and extensive knowledge and we will continue seeking his medical services.

This doctor doesn't care about patients he has you waiting 2 hrs. When he is never there .He spents more time at DHR it's either DHR or the patients waiting for 2 hrs. Also the staff never call to remind you that you have an appt. He cancelled 3 appts. when I was there at the office because he was at DHR. very unprofessional I wouldn't recommend this so call doctor.

Dr. Silberman has been my doctor for the past 20 years. He is one of the best cardiologist in the RGV. His professionalism and ethics are without a doubt exceptional.
