Interesting. I came back to modify my review, and it's gone. So, I'll post this. I'll be as vaguely specific as possible without giving out my cardiac medical condition.
My prior cardiologist moved their practice over an hour away. So, I sought care from Dr. Komolafe. I have a heart condition that, while not complex, does require a specific course of cardiac care to maintain my heart health. During my first visit, Dr. Komolafe informed me that he wanted my family doctor to manage part of my cardiac care. I contacted my family doctor, and after they informed me that wasn't part of the knowledge they would normally have to provide adequate care, I informed Dr. Komolafe's office that he would have to manage it. Repeated efforts after that to obtain the prescription orders to manage that part of my care failed. I have a home testing machine I normally use every 2 weeks for testing that reports results to the prescribing physician. I couldn't use it because I was out of supplies and wasn't allowed to order more until Dr. Komolafe sent in prescription orders for it. I discovered that I could manage that part of my care myself by paying for labwork instead of using the home testing machine. So, I contacted Dr. Komolafe's office to explain the situation and ask that he send orders for me to go to get labwork so my insurance would cover the cost. His office, in so many words, told me no and to just wait to test until he sent the prescription orders that I had been trying to get sent. My cardiac medical condition requires I test every 2 weeks to ensure I maintain certain levels of what it tests. If I don't test within those levels, I could have internal bleeding or a stroke if my medication is not adjusted. I decided at that point that driving over an hour for care I felt comfortable with was necessary. I have had to pay out of pocket 4 times so far to get labwork and manage this part of my cardiac care myself while waiting to get into my prior cardiologist.
I did do a quick Google search, and approximately 1.1 in 1000 people in the United States have the exact cardiac care needs that I have. The average age of onset is 58, and approximately 25% of the population is 58 or older. That means that approximately .044% of the population needs the same cardiac care that I do. So, I realize that Dr. Komolafe may have little to no experience with caring for someone with my cardiac medical condition, even though he is a cardiologist, and that if a person has more common cardiac needs, they would be satisfied with his care. The fact stands that I wasn't, and ultimately, to feel like I was safely maintaining my overall health, I had to seek care elsewhere.
And THAT is why I have rated this cardiologist with a 1 star rating.

Dr. K doesn't look at patients charts found that out first hand today at my appointment as he tried to prescribe me a medication that he did before that gave me adverse reaction had this dumb look on his face and then the meds he sent to the wrong pharmacy after me giving the frost desk the correct one I would urge you to stay clear of him as he is arrogant and doesn't listened to concerns of his patients

I was referred as a new patient to Dr. Komolafe due to abnormal cardiac test results and rec'd a call from his office regarding an appointment date and time for Friday 11/15. I did not pick the date and time, his office did. I was not informed at the time the appointment was scheduled or at the time I arrived at the office that Dr. Komolafe was on vacation. I did not realize he was not in the office until after I was already in the examining room and his Physician Assistant came in. She had not reviewed my results and was unable to answer specific questions. What a waste of my time and money. Why would I trust a group of people further that have such blatant disregard for their patients. I was nothing more to them than another office visit copay. Dr. Komolafe, how your office is run is a direct reflection on you. Hope you had a nice vacation. I will be seeing someone else in the future.

They are a hot mess. I've been with Dr. Komolafe for a couple of years, and he's a good doctor, but his new office at the mansfield Office is ruining his reputation, and you can even get in to see him anymore. I've had abnormal EKGs and stress tests, and I had to follow up with THEM three times. Unacceptable. I had a horrible experience with the stress test as well. They were aggressive about if you weren't there. They would charge $200 or $250 for the missed appointment. I was there 10mins early and waited 2 hours and standing because they obviously just care about the money now. People were standing outside the office, too, where I eventually waited because there were more patients coming in. Elderly people standing with cardiac issues for a long duration like that is extremely unprofessional and shows where their priorities are at. Not to mention the issue with them trying to ask for a higher copay and deductible, too. I've been so patient with this office prior to doing this review because the doctor is knowledgeable, but good luck even seeing him, and if you do, then good luck dealing with the unorganized office staff who can answer simple questions nor bill you correctly and waiting forever.
I will not be coming back and do not recommend anyone here. You simply will not get the results or answers you're looking for, or IF you're lucky, at least for sure, not without jumping through hoops.

If it weren't for the person that claims to be the front office manager named Dominique, it might have a better review. She can get very snippy with the patients. I'm very surprised she interrupted me, gave me attitude (but then claimed she hasn't when I called her out on it) and she was not helpful at all about my situation. Very unprofessional and non caring to patients. This place seems they are out to get peoples money too. I had an appointment June 2, but was called to reschedule it to another date, I agreed to a date I had written down but apparently they put it in as another date. She calls me and claim it was today but I was under the impression that it's tomorrow. She rescheduled me to my original date June 2 because im not available today which is how i know i didnt schedule for today..she Asked if anything else I needed and then I said yeah actually will there be a charge for that miscommunicated appointment. She said yes 50 dollars. Like no u were about to let me off the phone and rescheduled me without telling me and when I asked all the sudden I owe? What? She kept telling me I confirmed that appointment when I know I did not! Based off plans I had today I KNOW I didn't... she was incredibly un helpful, uncaring, and straight up rude when she ran out of patience regarding me arguing about that fee for an appointment I never confirmed... I asked to speak to the doctor. She literally said no he doesn't have time.. then said an admin can call me but not sure when. She only comes in once a week.. I still asked for the doctor to call Me and i asked by when will I hear from him and she said she doesn't know and ruffled with the phone and huffed and got more firm with her tone and told me I'm asking for a specific time and she can't give me that! but I am not asking for a specific time I asked about when do I expect a call.. like 24, 48 hours etc. And she said ma'am is there anything else I can help u with? Big ol attitude!! like no girl lose the attitude and have the doctor call me cuz now I wana tell him about YOU. She also said she will let him know what happened.. of course, im expecting her to lie to him. We will see if he calls me and actually helps me..don't go here if u don't want to potentially run into trash employees and service
